Some facts about me...
At 25, I’ve come to accept that I’m an introvert and a bit of a loner. Meeting new people or striking up conversations isn’t something I enjoy. I’ve always felt more at ease keeping to myself. I tend to overthink a lot, sometimes I get so lost in my own thoughts that I completely tune out from what’s happening around me. I’m deeply attached to my family, and I often find myself getting emotional over the smallest things. At the same time, there are moments when I stay completely quiet during big events times when people expect a strong reaction from me, but I just process everything inwardly. I’m a huge fan of international dramas from Turkish and Thai to Chinese and Korean. I’ve watched hundreds of them over the years, and each one has taken me on a journey through different cultures, emotions, and beautiful cityscapes. These shows sparked a dream in me: to one day travel to the cities I’ve seen on screen, walk through the streets of Istanbul, Seoul, Bangkok, and Beijing, and experience the rich culture, food, and history firsthand. Watching foreign dramas isn't just entertainment for me it's also my inspiration to explore the world.
Welcome to Day 1 of my journey.
Today, I’m finally doing something I’ve been wanting to do for over a year: start a blog about my journey to build passive income and make money online. I don’t have it all figured out. In fact, I’m just beginning. But this space is where I’ll share everything the wins, the failures, the chaos, and the clarity as I figure out how to build online income streams and stop relying on a single paycheck to live.
Every few days, the same thought haunts me: "What if I lose my job? How will I pay my EMIs, bills, and basic living expenses?" With monthly EMIs under my name and rising costs of living, the fear of sudden unemployment or a layoff constantly lingers in the back of my mind. This financial pressure is not just a worry it's become the fuel driving my journey toward building passive income streams and finding ways to make money online. In today’s uncertain job market and economy, depending on a single paycheck feels too risky. That’s exactly why I’ve started researching online income ideas for beginners, so I can create a backup plan, a safety net that gives me more control over my life, finances, and future. Whether it's affiliate marketing, blogging, or digital products, I want to build something that keeps earning even if life throws unexpected challenges my way.
The idea of making money while I sleep or at least not trading every hour for a fixed wage is what pulled me toward passive income. It’s not about getting rich quickly. It’s about creating freedom and financial stability, one small step at a time.
I’m taking it one step at a time. Over the past few months, I’ve watched countless YouTube videos, tutorials, and Instagram reels on how to make money online. From affiliate marketing to freelancing and other online side hustles, I’ve consumed a lot of information and honestly, some of it has been really valuable. I’ve started making notes, mapping out a clear plan, and figuring out what my next steps will be. I’ve even outlined what my first 30 days of this online income journey will look like.
A year ago, I had this exact idea: document my journey online. But life happened. Chaos took over. Priorities shifted. And this dream of launching my website got buried under everything else.
But something changed recently. I got tired of the cycle. The paycheck-to-paycheck stress. The feeling of being stuck. I knew that if I wanted freedom, I’d have to build it even if that meant starting small and showing up every day, quietly but consistently.
Sometimes I catch myself wondering what if I had started this a year ago? Would I already be successful? Would I be earning passive income online by now? The truth is, I’ll never know. Thinking about the past won’t change anything. What matters is what I do next. So instead of overthinking, it’s time to take real action. Whether it’s affiliate marketing for beginners, setting up a blog, or growing on Pinterest, I’m ready to move from learning to doing — and document every step along the way.
Today, I’m showing up.
I have my goals set up for this week.
I like keeping things realistic and doable. So here are my goals for this week:
✅ Publish my first blog (this one!)
🚀 Share it on Instagram & Pinterest
🌱 Start building an online presence
👥 Attract a small audience even if it’s just 5 people who care
🧭 Research on different ways to make money online
I want this space to be more than just "here’s how to make money" advice. It’s my digital journal. I’ll be sharing about :
Weekly updates on what I’m trying
Honest lessons from failures
Tools and platforms I’m using
Step-by-step breakdowns of what’s working
If I can build a passive income stream from scratch, so can you. Let’s learn together.
As someone who’s just starting out reaching out to audiences to connect to and build my online presence is one of the top priorities so I will be investigating more on that. For now I am thinking of promoting my content on Instagram and Pinterest, slowly I will deep dive into other social media platforms.
I know it’ll be slow at first. But I’m committed. One post at a time, one reader at a time, one income stream at a time. I may be a beginner, but I’m determined. No more delays. No more waiting for the “perfect time.” I’m building this from the ground up and if you’re reading this, you’re part of it from day one.
Let’s see where this goes.
